What an FBA prep center does

Amazon surcharges or refuses shipments that arrive wrong — missing FNSKU labels, unbagged units, poly bags without suffocation warnings, bundles that aren’t sealed, expiration dates that aren’t marked. Prep is the work of getting every unit to spec before it ships. Get it wrong and you pay Amazon’s prep fees, lose sell-through days, and put your seller metrics at risk.

An Amazon prep center does that work for you, in the United States, before your stock ever reaches a fulfillment center. It also gives you something Amazon will not: a place to hold inventory that you still control.

Receiving from your suppliers — domestic or overseas

Most prep problems start upstream. Your supplier does not prep to Amazon standards, cartons arrive mixed, or a container lands with nobody to unload it.

Send it here instead. We receive palletized freight, loose cartons, small-parcel deliveries from domestic wholesalers, and full containers — which we unload at our own dock. If you are importing from China, or selling into the US from Israel, Canada, the UK, Europe or Australia, this is your US receiving point: your goods land in Delaware, get inspected before anything moves to Amazon, and get forwarded in only once they are right.

You stop shipping blind into Amazon from the other side of the world, and you stop having pallets delivered to your house.

Buffer storage for restock and storage limits

Amazon caps how much you can send in. If your IPI score drops or your capacity limit tightens, inventory you have already paid for has to sit somewhere — and Amazon’s own long-term storage fees are the most expensive place for it to sit.

Hold it with us instead. We store your overflow in Delaware and drip-feed replenishment shipments into Amazon as your limits open up, so you buy stock when your supplier and your sales say to, not when Amazon allows it. It is the same building as your prep, so a replenishment is a forwarding job, not a whole new receiving job.

Fourth quarter 2026: the dates that matter

Amazon has published its inbound deadlines for Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Your inventory has to arrive at an Amazon fulfillment center by:

October 21, 2026 — if you use minimal shipment splits.
October 28, 2026 — if you use Amazon-optimized shipment splits.

Those are arrival dates, not ship dates. Working backwards through prep, forwarding and transit, your units need to be at a prep center well before then. Amazon’s peak fulfillment fee period also runs from October 15, 2026 through January 14, 2027.

Amazon has not yet published a Christmas-specific inventory deadline for 2026. When it does, we will work to it.

The thing that runs out in the fourth quarter is prep capacity, not warehouse space. If you are planning a Q4 push, talk to us in September, not in October.

How much does FBA prep cost?

Prep is priced per unit and the per-unit price drops as your monthly volume rises. Add-ons such as poly bagging, bubble wrap and bundling are priced separately per unit, and storage is priced per pallet or per bin per month. There is no setup fee and there is a monthly minimum. Tell us your monthly unit volume and what prep each unit needs, and we send back the full itemized rate card with your quote.

Do you prep for Walmart WFS as well as Amazon?

Yes. We prep for Amazon FBA and Walmart WFS, and we can fulfill your own store’s orders from the same inventory in the same building.

Can you receive a full container directly?

Yes. We unload containers at our own dock in Wilmington, sort the cartons to SKU, inspect, prep and then forward into Amazon.

Can you hold inventory and send it into Amazon gradually?

Yes. This is the usual fix for restock and storage limits. We hold your overflow in Delaware and release replenishment shipments into Amazon on the schedule your limits allow.

Do you prep food, beverage and supplements?

Yes. Our Delaware facility is registered with the FDA as a food facility, and we handle the expiration and lot labeling those categories require.

I am not a US seller. Can I still use you?

Yes. Overseas sellers are a large part of what we do. Your freight lands at our Delaware warehouse, we inspect and prep it, and we forward it into Amazon for you. You do not need a US address of your own.

How fast is turnaround?

Our cutoff is 3 PM — work received by then moves the same business day. For large inbound loads we agree the turnaround with you before the freight arrives, so you can plan your shipment window.

Is there anything you will not prep?

We do not handle hazardous materials, or temperature-controlled and perishable goods. Oversized and heavy units can usually be handled — send us the dimensions and weight and we will confirm before you ship anything.

What do you need from me to get a quote?
